I'm Bunny-Phobic

If you're a close friend of mine, you would know that one of the things that Joy is extremely afraid of and will freak out embarassingly whenever in close vicinity of are rabbits. It seems irrational but believe me, my fear has deep psychological roots. As I was peacefully sleeping one night sometime five years ago, I was haunted by a terrifying nightmare. In it, I was walking down the stairs in my school building dressed in my school uniform [baju kurung]. In my dream, there was a dead rabbit in my pocket, it was pure white and had red eyes. I was totally scared because I couldn't take it out of my pocket and had to walk around school with it. Imagine having to have a dead rabbit in your pocket, isn't that scary enough?! Ever since then, I have an incurable fear of rabbits. [Especially white ones with red eyes.]
Ironically enough, I had to take care of Kim's rabbits for her when she went to Langkawi for a vacation. That was one of the biggest sacrifices I've ever made for a friend. Kim, you'd better remember this until your dying day! [LoLZ] I still remember that one of the naughty rabbits escaped from the cage and I was too scared to catch it so I had to get help from my grandfather to do it. My grandfather [dengan penuh bergaya] just carried the rabbit by the ears and throw back in the cage while I was in the background, screaming for my life. [Oh, err. He was really gentle though Kim, hehe...] I don't know if my fear has been cured over the years as I haven't been near any rabbits [or have any reason to] over the years. It's one of the most funniest moments of my life though and I'm sure my friends will remember that as one of my defining weaknesses.

So yeah, reading through that brings back tonnes of memories of my crazy years in lower secondary. I do hope I can supress the urge to run shrieking into the night during my next encounter with a "rabbit" [alien].
